Anjunadeep welcomes Berlin-based producer and live act Nils Hoffmann to the label with his first standalone release ‘9 Days / Cranes’. First heard on flagship label compilation Anjunadeep 13, ‘9 Days’ features vocals from South African vocalist Julia Church. Julia is well known for her feature on Lane 8’s stunning track ‘Oh, Miles’ which has racked up over 15 million streams and gained support on SiriusXM and Kiss FM. ‘Cranes’ is a collaborative cut with Swiss producer and songwriter Natascha Polké, who’s recently released on This Never Happened and Definition:Music. Berlin-based producer and live act Nils Hoffmann returns to Anjunadeep with new single ‘Let Me Go’, featuring TENDER. The single is paired with the announcement of his sophomore album ‘A Radiant Sign’, out September 2nd.

The album marks the beginning of a new chapter for the 26-year-old up-and-comer. Finding himself going through a transitional stage in his life, Nils used the album to help him escape and give him hope in uncertain times.

“The album is about new beginnings, and represents the beautiful results that can come from fighting through difficult circumstances. I wanted to give people a collection of music that they can be absorbed by; giving them the hope and faith to keep going through the twists and turns of life. While writing the album, I realised that challenging situations do eventually come to an end, and while facing those challenges, it’s best to look ahead. That’s what ‘A Radiant Sign’ stands for.”

Having started releasing music and touring the world at the young age of 16, Nils already has a wealth of experience to call upon. Drawing musical inspiration from artists like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Ólafur Arnalds and Stephan Bodzin, Nils showcases his masterful melodic house productions over the 13 tracks of ‘A Radiant Sign’. Berlin-based producer and live act Nils Hoffmann releases his latest single “Lonely”, and will be launching his new Phenomena project with its first EP to be released July 28 on Anjunadeep.

In this new single, Nils collaborates with talented British singer-songwriter Rae Morris, who is known for her previous work with Lane 8 on the track ’No Fun’ and acclaimed by Clash, NME and The Guardian. Nils pairs Rae Morris' heartfelt vocals with warm synths characteristic to his sound, creating a pop-influenced summer anthem.

The Phenomena EP series is a new ongoing project for Nils to release music that feels fitting for the present moment.

“There's so much beautiful music that I'm excited to share with you in the future,” said Nils, “which leads me to my new Phenomena releases. While working towards my next album, there are some tracks that I just couldn't wait to release. Maybe the inspiration felt too current to save, or the tunes felt appropriate for the season, this project will give me a running series to keep things fresh.”

Nils described his inspiration behind the single, saying “"Lonely", features  a beautiful vocal from Rae Morris. I made this for my live sets, and it was inspired by the highs and lows of my first headline tour this past winter. Going from the euphoria of performing to sleepless nights in hotels around the world is quite an experience, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.”

Nils Hoffmann shares the next single, and title track, from his forthcoming album ‘Running In A Dream’. The single is a collaboration with Swedish producer Kasbo and features vocals from Australian singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic.

Moulded by German electronic music culture and his own classical training, music has always been a part of Nils’ life. Embarking on his musical journey at the age of 16, Nils swiftly gained a wealth of experience to draw upon. To date, the 27-year-old producer has amassed over 120 million streams on his music catalogue and performed at renowned venues, including Printworks London, the Brooklyn Mirage, and The Gorge Amphitheatre.

Nils’ forthcoming album, Running In A Dream, follows the release of his sophomore album, A Radiant Sign, which launched on Anjunadeep last year. The album achieved remarkable feats, amassing an impressive 24 million streams to date and gaining radio support from leading platforms, including BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Chill, and KCRW. It soared to the top spot on iTunes Dance charts upon release and quickly garnered support from artists including Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, and Eelke Kleijn. Nils embarked on an extensive live tour to support the album, enthralling audiences across three continents at over 40 mesmerising shows.

In new single ‘Running In A Dream’, Nils joins forces with Kasbo to blend Vancouver Sleep Clinic’s dreamy vocals with warm pads and a captivating lead synth. Kasbo, originally from Sweden, is an accomplished electronic producer with releases on esteemed labels including ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective, Counter Records, Mom+Pop and more. Hailing from Australia, Vancouver Sleep clinic is a singer-songwriter who debuted his first EP in 2014 and has since gone on to release multiple albums, amassed over 300 million streams across his catalogue and support on BBC Radio 1.

This impressively collaborative track is representative of the ‘Running In A Dream’ album to which it lends its name. The LP features an illustrious array of collaborators including Australian singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic, Swedish producer Kasbo, British singer-songwriter Rae Morris, Brisbane-based producer and vocalist The Kite String Tangle, and Australian musician Dustin Tebbutt.

Once In A Blue Moon

Sometimes you have a moment in the studio where ideas simply do not float, and it happens that in the last ten minutes before you plan to go home you have THAT idea. This sums up the process of ‚Wherever You Are‘. I was noodeling around on the piano and at some point I found the bell melody of this song. I was really  excited then and finished the whole intstrumental in the next hours. Later on I recorded the vocals with Margret.
