Wayfaring Stranger

I decided to record this song whith one of the best pianists in Iceland, the hungarian Zsuzsanna Budai who has lived in Iceland for over 20 years. Sissi from Stúdíó Gott Hljóð in Borgarnes did the recording at the church of Borgarnes.

The workshop Ungir-Gamlir (Young and old)is a musical event held in Akranes Iceland every fall. Known artists work with young people for several days and the result is presented in a concert. Here Steinunn Inga Guðmundsdóttir is singing the Bette Midler song The Rose, accompanied by other students as back vocals and musicians.

Scored about an hour worth of music for the awards ceremony. This was the intro soundtrack starting the show. Great energy, worthy winners and Xiuhtezcatl as youngest emcee to date brought Town Hall to life for a good cause.

The photo from the sound booth were I spent the evening.

Was invited to score an awards ceremony hosted by Alec Baldwin and Dia Mirza. The Cipriani ceiling added beautiful reverb. The photo shows the winners taking a group photo on stage - this final soundtrack was designed to build up to that final moment of the awards segment.

Thanks to the Cipriani sound crew and Garret, "Goody" for their absolute professionalism and focus.
