When a humble console gets turned into a music powerhouse, anything can happen. From the real-time pattern play and keyboard to all the dials and knobs you can turn, it was truly fascinating for me to see this album come alive, and I'm truly gratified with how far I went learning music composing, while embracing limitation in its own ways!

The train arrived at the station, and once Neil left it to climb a distorted escalator, he began to hear some muffled tunes in the distance. The place was split into four corridors, and he quickly noticed the music was louder on one that was covered in a bubblegum-like goop, just like something pink had burst. It smelled quite sweet too...?

Right at its very end, lied a door with a lit "ON AIR" sign. It wasn't long until he had the kinda rude idea to peek through the door to crack the melodic mystery, and slowly turning the handle, the beats blasted through his ears, and a tall TV headed creature with a suit full of stars showed up singing and dancing inside the once lonely cubicle.

I actually heard most of this song in a dream I had! I knew it should become a reality the moment I woke up lol, and used the KORG M01 for the DS to compose it! And btw, this narrative above is a snippet of what happens in a dream-inspired webcomic I'm working on! Neil is my character ;]

Liminal Halls

The earthquake settled down, and hazy pulses of saws and squares began to light up the busted surroundings. The debris skipped to the beat, and Pia rushed for her own self, dodging what seemed to be a never-ending trap to her strings and hammers.

This is a song I composed for a story I hope to turn into a short sometime in the future, called Disturbed Harmony! It was also an experiment with some panning effects.

Noise Blackout

This song was my entry on a remix contest hosted by Armada University! I was very encouraged by my parents to give it a go, and went all the way on making a remix with the tools I had at hand.

The original song was made by Kryder, starring the vocals of Sarah de Warren. I had access to the vocal stems for the contest, and fused them with the composition work I did on my DS with the KORG M1. I hope you enjoy it!

Lights Out - NinAcTi0N Remix

This one was created as an experiment with noise waveforms and the built-in Kaoss pad the DS-10 had. I was loosely inspired by the beeping sounds old machines would make while processing data, together with the noises printers and fax emit when working lol. Hope you enjoy it!

Beepy Bop

A short compilation of songs I made using Beepbox and Jummbox! They were a new frontier for me, and even with the hiccups I had in the way trying to learn how to customize the instruments, I can say I learned a whole lot. Definitely more confident to step into more complex synthesizers in the future!

Ok, this one was a very interesting experiment for me- @/Framed51, a good ol' friend of mine, commissioned me to compose a song for one of his speed modeling vids! He ended up modeling Dina, his character and the charming lady on the cover!

Hope you enjoy the vibes! I wanted something that was equal amounts of upbeat and focused, to not draw much attention from the modeling process. I think I did a good job ^^
