Nothing Else Matters welcomes its newest signing in the form of Australian based DJ and producer, Kormak, for the release of his brand-new single, 'Look To Me', featuring the captivating vocals of avid singer-songwriter and producer, Jinadu, and the very talented Miane on remix duties. Kormak's signature brand of House blurs the lines between classic and modern interpretations of the genre, and as a result his productions have found homes on an impressive list of labels, including DFTD, Glasgow Underground, D-Vine Sounds, Loulou Records and more with support flooding in from Claptone, Patrick Topping, Marco Carola and Radio 1's Pete Tong, Annie Mac & label boss, Danny Howard. 'Look To Me' is a high energy House groover fusing heartfelt melodies, hypnotic synth patterns, percolating rhythms and energetic drums married perfectly with Jinadu's crisp, emotive vocals. Completing the package is Miane's remix which takes the track down a techier route; showcasing her signature playful basslines, exciting synth transitions, robust snares and a hypnotic, grooving low-end.

The positive connections continue as Catz ‘n Dogz update their Music Manifesto with the latest single from their well-received fourth album ‘Friendship’. Originally penned by aforementioned rising Raleigh artist ZenSoFly and her producer-in-crime Maxville, then developed with Catz ‘n Dogz, Zen’s lyrics will resonate deeply with every genuine creative bone in all of our body while the Pets bossmen whip up a jittering, bumpy, horn-poked groove that nods at the old Classic Music sound. The message is clear: make your own wave, be true to what you want to do and don’t put other people’s waves down. Life is too short to feel any other way. 
Life’s too short not to pay attention to these two extraordinary remixes, too. Each one rides its own totally unique wave; long-time compadre Justin Martin touches the crest with his light-footed jack, bubbling bass groove and sudden spasms of glitchy funk while Optimo-fresh Theus Mago continues his remarkable vein of form with an intergalactic sleazy sci-fi funk perspective. Now five years on from its original debut, Toolroom revisit the back-catalogue favourite this October as they welcome leading talents Detlef and David Penn to deliver their own take on the production and offer up two huge remixes for 2020.

Harnessing the original production’s iconic vocals, Detlef steps up to take the reins as he delivers a driving interpretation guided by rolling metallic drums and swirling synths, before handing over to David Penn who introduces paired back, refined percussion arrangements alongside the track’s funk-fuelled guitar licks to deliver a resonant house cut and shape up proceedings in style.
