im in love with someone that is severely schizophrenic, and this song makes me think of him from his perspective... and it shatters me to think of that. Hes tormented and I want nothing more than to be able to rescue and save him from that, which is himself. NIN really should make a song about that exact scenario. its beautiful bc i love him, but its tormenting bc its something that could never be.
