Vanground is a Spanish DJ and producer born and based in Madrid. With a career that began in the 90s, Vanground started producing music using Fruity Loops and Rebirth in 1996. In 2000, he began his DJing journey, spinning vinyl as part of the Hard Taste collective, and quickly became part of Madrid’s underground electronic scene. He was also a founding member of the Injection Project collective and held a monthly residency at Cáceres’ "Mongy" club in 2001, while performing at venues like Aire Club and various clubs and raves across Madrid.

Vanground’s career developed throughout the 2000s with performances at iconic clubs such as Cocoon Club and Lucky Club. In 2006  started learning production in Ableton Live.  In 2011, he joined the DJs Music collective, continuing his sets at prominent Madrid venues like Penelope and Mondino.

In 2015, he founded the Quantum collective and played at festivals such as Manjinegros, returning to the event again in 2022.

 2022-  he contributed to the opening of Lasociaciøn (Madrid), where he has been performing ever since.

This set was exclusively recorded at Magdalena on 07/12/24 at Lasociaciøn.

Our January 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an hour-forty-minute, all-vinyl mix from PS11.

PS11 is the project of Matthew Antico, a NY-based DJ and producer whose introduction to electronic music began in the mid-90s while living in Los Angeles. After relocating to Queens, NY, in 1996, he adopted the alias DJ ELEVEN and immersed himself in the NYC underground techno scene, honing his skills as a DJ by spinning fast-paced, percussive techno at underground parties and weekly residencies.

After a long hiatus from DJing, Matt adopted the name PS11 in 2018 and became deeply focused on music production, mastering the intricacies and technical aspects of electronic music creation. Embracing a “less is more” approach, his sound—heavily influenced by his past—is raw, often combining repetitive percussive elements and evolving synths while maintaining a strong focus on the dance floor with heavy, bass-driven rhythms.

In October 2022, PS11 landed his first release on Mastoid Kollektive’s PINK 2 various artists compilation, followed by EP and VA releases on Chicago Jaxxx, E-HRZN Records, EvilGroove, ASS3, BCCO, Duplicity, Splatter, and Life In Patterns.

Monthly Techno Mixshow - PS11 [January 2025]

Although the Marboc project has existed since 2010, it is only now that I feel full satisfaction with what I create. For a very long time I was observing and following all kinds of music genres to find my place. I was fascinated and tried to show it at my performances. Currently, Techno music is for me an indicator of myself, weaving in experiences from previous years and trying to create something unique. My productions are an example of such a combination. Combining fast rhythmic drums with subtle backgrounds and an addictive industrial bass line is one of my favorite forms of production. This is the form of work I've been keeping since 2017 and I feel it will sit in me for a long time to come. 

It's also gratifying to see that the productions are appreciated not only by the Polish public, but also on countless podcasts from around the world.  

During the performance the most important thing is the bond with the audience and trust. Adapting to the environment and the subject of the event is another trait that has allowed me to acquire this skill over the years of experience. Whether I play a hypnotic Warm up or prepare for you a very solid Closing, I am always ready to perform. Each performance is like a short story, with my own songs interspersed throughout. I'm always open to listen to your impressions after the show and high five.

In between performing and creating new tracks in the studio, I have been involved in other projects ranging from radio residency to the Nocturn collective, the Przedświt project, and finally the party organization project "Wybrzeże". They are the source of information that shaped my musical character.

Growing up in vibrant Madrid during the 80s, he was deeply influenced by the lively pop culture that surrounded him. By the late 90s, his focus shifted towards electronic music, immersing himself in the captivating sounds of progressive, trance, and techno. In 2001, he took his first steps as a DJ in underground clubs, fully discovering the sounds of minimal house and techno that shaped his unique musical identity.

His debut release in 2019 marked a significant milestone, unveiling a distinctive techno sound characterized by hypnotic elements and precise percussion designed for the dance floor. Since then, AeFe has continued to push the boundaries of his craft, exploring new sonic territories and evolving his sound.

Synthxx is the name given to this man from Toledo who started in electronic music at a very early age.
 
He started mixing attracted by the challenge of interleaving the sounds of two cassette tapes and after acquiring his own technique and style on the decks, he would become a regular in the booth of the Orbital discotheque in Toledo, one of the venues that became popular in the area due to the electronic music trend in in 1998.

Since then, he hasn't stopped being interested in this sound and has progressed in different disciplines of the scene. 

In recent times, his progression has made him one of the most interesting talents in the sector in different clubs with a great influence on electronic music.

He has been asked to present his sets in places as important as Florida135, Family club, Industrial Copera, Domo or Isla Tortuga among others, being in this last one where he develops the function of resident in the Reaktive project until 2020.

His sets are based on a musical selection that always looks for the most elegant speech and tries at every moment to get a different reaction from the public, without leaving aside the movement of the dancefloor.

His steps as a producer have led him to get feedback on his tracks represented by Oscar Mulero, Takaaki Itoh, Developer, Lewis Fautzi, Dvs1, Tensal, Inigo Kennedy, Kaiser, Vegim, PWCCA, Michel Lauriola.

Immersed in multiple projects, production is of particular importance for his near future.
