Behind the name of Irukanji stands the talented Ukrainian producer Ihor Orlovskyi, already well known to the psychedelic community for his psychill and darkprog releases, as well as the impeccable management of his label Sentimony Records.

And now Moon Koradji Records is delighted to unveil his new layer of music - the EP titled 'Springwald' - Ihor's vision of ~150bpm psytrance.

'Springwald', meaning 'jumping forest' in German, was once Ihor's ancestral surname. However, during the Ukrainian Soviet era, German surnames faced prejudice, prompting Ihor's grandfather to adopt his mother's surname, Orlovskyi, as a boy.

The roots began to stir, awakening from their slumber...

Since 2006, Eiichi is involved with various parties in the Kansai area, especially Osaka. 2014 he joined Sangoma Records and compiled the release “Tanuki Tandava” on the label in 2015. Since then he also comes to Europe annually during and played at various festivals and parties such as: Ozora Festival (Hungary), MoDem Festival (Croatia), Sonica Festival (Italy), PsyFi Festival (Netherlands), Kosmos Festival (Finland), Wonderland Festival (Germany), Simsalaboom (Germany), Yaga Gathering (Lithiania), Fractalia Festival (Germany), Gaggalacka Festival (Germany) among others.
