KOOKOO RECORDS continues their summer rollout with George Smeddles’ remix of Indeep’s classic song “Last Night A D.J Saved My Life”. For our 87th release, we're proud to present the debut record from ‘Mood Control'. Expect a unique flavour; this duo have come together from opposite ends of the earth. Jonas Fischer hailing from Germany, joining musical forces with Craig James in New Zealand to create Mood Control; the name of which speaks for itself.

The first track ‘Blackfish' encapsulates a truly orchestral feel, whilst staying true to the boys techno roots. Blackfish will guide through to a very introspective, cinematic breakdown, followed by an intense build & erupting into life that spreads across the dance floor every time.

‘Titans' was about bringing the music typically played by the duo's DJ sets into one of their own original productions. Taking influence from Jonas' unique blend of flavours in Berlin, Titans starts with a driving kick drum as the backbone of the track, flourishing into a rich palette of colours through a multitude of climbing and winding synths.
