With just two more volumes of this season to go we find ourselves arriving at Locations: Canada as the Jazz Jousters share their take on a lab off session which focused on sampling Jazz music from Canada.

Locations: Canada should see you all through to January 2016 when the Jousters return with our Cuban project which we have already begun to work on. AWR is dragging the Deep House genre with him back in time towards the 80s on a jazzy time-machine, with his new track: Messing with My Mind. Whilst tracks in the EDM scene usually consist of a instrumental and vocals, Messing with my Mind consist of a full fledged production, including multiple horns, grand piano and a jazzy electric guitar. Don't be frightened; it's neatly controlled and glued together with soothing vocals and catchy hooks. The track is original, which is often the result when creative minds take the full control, AWR is not only performing vocals and writing the track, but producing it as well.

'different strokes' is a short project I put together in a matter of days. I originally aimed to make 1 track a day for a week, but I ended up completing several tracks within the span of roughly 3 to 4 days instead. The whole idea is basically just a challenge of completing beats within a short amount of time with little to no breaks primarily using samples and sounds I had not found a use for prior. Essentially this project or 'tape' consists of a small batch of beats strung together by loose ideas, providing a few different "flavors".

yooo i love this song so much so i decided to make a remake!

i think the drums made with the sp 1200 maybe  jay used the bassline from the sample also the vocals for the refrain part, but in the verse section i think he played those smooth chords in note cuz in every way  i tried to filter out the singin' i couldnt so i think the beat made by like this (in my opininon). :) so here it is i used only the sample and of course drums with the sp 12 ! much love ! and rip to the OG Slum Village <3
