We are beyond excited to present the second volume of House Blends to our listeners and also showcase our beatmakers taking upon this uptempo vibe. The compilation is a testament to the ever-evolving nature of house music and the incredible pool of talent within the genre.

Our idea of House Blends stems from the vibes on the west coast in the 90’s without technology just being out with your friends cruising, night vibes, good food and spending time with people you vibe with. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the artists who contributed their remarkable works and to our listeners for the unwavering support.

After the success of Volume 1 on Apple Music, the bar has been set high for this follow-up release. Brace yourselves for a journey through the freshest house blends, featuring six incredibly talented artists I have the honor of presenting.

Celebrating eighty years of life and a sixty year career, Brazilian legend Marcos Valle announces the lead single “Life Is What It Is”, from his forthcoming album Túnel Acústico.

Composed in late seventies LA alongside Laudir De Oliveria from the band Chicago, “Life Is What It Is” was first released on Chicago’s Chicago 13 album, with lyrics by Robert Lamb. 

Over four decades later, Marcos Valle looks back upon his good times on the West Coast, recording his own version of “Life Is What It Is” for his new album Túnel Acústico. Valle’s new version ups the tempo and deepens the groove for a blast of irresistible summer soul.

Amongst a host of other songs bringing together the sounds and spirit of Valle’s astounding career, Túnel Acústico also features “Feels So Good”: Valle’s long lost collaboration with soul icon and producer extraordinaire Leon Ware - also written in late seventies LA.

“Life Is What It Is” releases as a digital single on 25th July 2024, before the full vinyl, CD, cassette and digital release of Túnel Acústico on the 20th September 2024, via Far Out Recordings.
