Over the years, his tracks have gained him support from none other than Adam Beyer, Pan Pot, Amelie Lens, Alan Fitzpatrick, Richie Hawtin, Slam and many many more.

Mattia Borriello aka M.I.T.A., born in ’90. Hours, months and years spent in the studio working on new tracks, publishing an ep on Phobiq, Neapolitan label owned by Sasha Carassi.
In 2010 he remixed his track “Polychromatic” and, in a few, he received remixes by worldwide heavyweights like Audio Injection, better known as Truncate, Paul Mac, The Advent and Industrialyzer.

In 2014 “Level Down” ep, born in collaboration with The Advent appeared on Mixmag (December edition), well-known electronic music magazine.

Friendship with Cisco became stronger, from that meeting in his studio in Brighton a new ep came up, containing 2 tracks, released on Elevate.

M.I.T.A. remixed Pig & Dan’s “Modular Baptism” and after a few months he released an ep in collaboration with Anna V. on Mood Records, label owned by Nicole Moudaber.

In 2019 a big change, by releasing “Wide Angle” ep on the legendary Suara (Coyu’s label) and “Rotation” ep, again on Elevate.

Ableton Trainer at Masterbass Studios in Beirut (Lebanon) during summer 2019.

He worked again with The Advent on a remix for Audiomatiques, released on Unrilis.

From January 2020, his return on Elevate with “Wax Dreams” ep, then he released “The Treatment” on Eats Everything and Andres Campo’s label Ei8ht and “On Cloud Nine” on Kneaded Pains, owned by the heavyweight duo Dense & Pika.

He performed in various cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, Salzburg, Saalbach, Athens, Toledo, Marseille, Rome, Naples and Milan.

In addition, his works had support from international djs like Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Adam Beyer, Slam, Pan Pot, Umek, Gregor Tresher, Carote, Nicole Moudaber, Julian Jeweil, Amelie Lens, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco, Maya Jane Coles, Sam Paganini, Luigi Madonna, Regal, 2000 and One, Andres Campo, Tim Xavier, Dj Emerson, Alan Fitzpatrick, Pig&Dan, Tomy DeClerque, Sian, Gary Beck, Felix Krocher, Dr Motte.

CFT012 - 97/98 Live from Hijacked, Sheffield

Born into Ireland’s bustling party scene, BEN PROPHET has been surrounded by music from an early age. His introduction to the rave world began with a regular slot for Reprezent Radio focused on discovering new talent, before more recently turning his hand to the darker shades of electronic music. 

After relocating to Newcastle to pursue a career in music, his new-found style has quickly burst into the limelight, following a string of support from heavyweight artists including Mall Grab, HAAi and VTSS. His instantly recognisable sound merges gritty, piercing drums with mechanical sounding vocals and percussion to form a raucous blend of techno-induced beats.   

His high-energy sets are laced with unhinged basslines, shapeshifting synths and skillfully layered samples which will leave your feet burning holes in the dance floor.

A note from the DJ:

I put this mix together for 97/98 ahead of their upcoming Factor 50 event which I’m playing at. I wanted to reference the fact that they’re a house and techno duo while still letting my own taste shine through, and ended up having a lot of fun selecting tracks I may not play out as often as others in order to fit the bill! The result is a journey from 120 to 160 bpm spanning deep house, breakbeat, garage, ghettotech, footwork, and more, all tied together by a sense of cheekiness which I felt this photo encapsulated. Enjoy!

As always with 97/98 you can expect plenty of groove to keep the dance floor moving. A project that stemmed from house parties, 97/98's sound has evolved into a selection of funky grooves along with elements of progressive melodies and captivating vocal hooks.
Originally from London, but now based in Sheffield - the duo are heavily involved in the Sheffield party scene. Their first taste of promoting events in the city came with all night long sets at their midweek party, Hijacked. Over the past three years their latest party, Factor 50, evolved into a mainstay at Sidney & Matilda and FORGE, focusing on providing opportunities for local talent to showcase their sound. The duo have also taken their Factor 50 party overseas to Brussels, Belgium, for a new concept Two for Two.
