Back at the end of 2006, when Trevor Jackson's Output Recordings folded, I put together a 3 hour tribute mix of my favourite tracks. This went out as 3 separate mixes on Solid Steel and I even made a very limited number of facsimile Output CDRs of the mixes. I've recently had requests to upload it again so, by the miracle that is Soundcloud, it's available. I've also edited it into one piece finally and the track list is embedded in the Lyrics section of the mp3.

Hour 2 opens with The Light Surgeons, a collective of pioneering multimedia artists and old friends of Ninja Tune who supplied the visuals for many club nights dating back to the Stealth days. Here they unveil there latest project, 'SuperEverything*' - a live cinema performance exploring identity, created in collaboration with a group of Malaysian artists. Jack Dangers takes the 25th Anniversary slot this week with a collection of rare, custom pressings of electronic music by high school students between 1962 to1983. Solid Steel (22nd March) Coldcut in charge this week, easing in with a reggae selection featuring Horace Andy, Tapper Zukie and Baba Dread, before switching into the much sampled Anne Murray and stripping it right back with Unforscene. It's a special welcome for Laurent Garnier in our 25th Anniversary slot, who last featured on the show back in 2005. His mix takes us on a journey through his Soundtrack collection and laced with dialog throughout. It opens with epic strings courtesy of Morton Gould and into Blixa Bargeld and Nick Cave's original score for Ghosts of the Civil Dead. Then it's Herbie Hancock from 'Round Midnight', David Holmes from Ocean's Eleven and Lalo Schiffrin from Enter the Dragon.
