In Hour 1 we welcome Ian McDonnell a.k.a. Eomac, also known as 1/2 of electronic duo Lakker. He's an artist, composer, producer, label owner and DJ, who has released genre-spanning music via The Trilogy Tapes, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Bedouin Records, Killekill and recently his own Eotrax imprint. He has been curating a series of EPs which saw him collaborate with several artists and the first one was with Paula Temple, second with Seán Carpio, third with Demian Licht and the last one with Kamikaze Space Programm. He had this to say;
'I was super happy to be asked to contribute a mix to Solid Steel. I wanted to do something slightly different from a DJ mix or radio-style podcast, so I decided to only use my own unreleased music. My 'Reconnect' LP from earlier this year was quite self contained project with a specific sound and intention, but I have loads of other music so I figured this was an excellent way to showcase some of that. All tracks unreleased, some forthcoming, some older, some newer. Thanks for listening :)'
