After debuting as part of RAM Records 2021 annual, D:Sign is now about to have his first single on its sister label ProgRAM, a label which has equally set itself apart within drum & bass through its high quality, underground releases.

‘Lets Take it Back’ and ‘Sunflower’ follow the same vein as ‘Marooned’ which saw D:Sign collaborate with Vangeliez on the RAM Annual, with its deep tones and textured layers. ‘Lets Take it Back’ tells the story of the ending summer months with a flowing bassline and rolling note sequences, whilst on the flip ‘Sunflower’ carries the same energy, with shifting drum work and lush musicality. It pulls together another defining artist debut, so once again – it’s time to get with the ProgRAM.

Innerground Records has a long history of introducing fresh sounds and with the New Wave Vol. 2 EP this tradition continues in style.

This five-track EP showcases a lot of what is great and good in DnB today. From up and comers such as Satl, Dirtbag and the Brazilian trio of Translate, Simplification & Masterwizard, to The Invaderz and DJ Marky - the tried and tested soldiers of the Innerground camp - we have a beautifully rounded release that delves into the deeper, more melodic side of the genre and attacks the harder side too. Early adopters of the EP have seen tracks aired on Friction's BBC Radio 1 show as well as Bryan G's V Recordings podcast.

New Wave Vol. 2 hits the streets on 30th September as a digital bundle on all major stores.

Ill Truth have been biding their time recently, spending hours in the studio to slowly build with expert electronic craftsmanship for the ‘Hollow Game EP’ which will add another monument towards their ascending career. Following a plethora of support on the scene’s most resounding, underground imprints, they’ve returned with ‘Lightbreak’ and ‘Hollow Game’, bringing the gritty, sub terranean sounds that they’re renowned for. Ensuring that they stay at the height of their game whilst paying homage to the type of drum & bass which act as the genre’s backbone, Ill Truth never sacrifices viability for commercial appeal, time and time again delivering cut after sonic cut that would easily find itself at home in the darkest of clubs.

With ‘Hollow Game’, Ill Truth draws you into their subtle, yet dynamic soundscape. However, this time you’re pulled into a softer shade of musicality. Featuring artist Michael E.T. adds his production ingenuity for the liquid track and female vocals are manipulated to add a rhythmic humanism to its melody. With each break propped up by cranking drum peddles and subtle quakes of bass, it’s easy to become lost in the ethereal side of Ill Truth’s discography. The producers use this single to demonstrate both their versatility and talent within the studio.
