the 1000 still seems to be the route for me to get in the zone with making beats quickly. this one, i sampled all the drums from my behringer rd-8 and downsampled them to be kind of like an sp1200. the sub bass is from the moog sub25, and the rest of the sounds are stuff from around the studio or pulled from the internet.

December ProducerDojo beat challenge - No synths, F minor, 87.5 bpm, Free range, grass fed, organic beat

I sampled a bunch of sounds from my home with my field recorder, including throwing change around, hitting stuff with other stuff, the sound of a balloon filling up with nitrous (thanks Lindsey!)

I created sub bass by blowing into a jug and recording it. filtering it down and tuning it.

I recorded a bunch of instruments, like a bass guitar (which is that crusty synthy distorted drop sound, the harmonic notes on a fender telecaster - that's what the lead sound in the second half is.

and as per usual - sampled some records for the rest of it....and maybe a small snippet from breaking bad. MUCH LOVE
