NInthwave Records started out as an offshoot of Lexicon Magazine, a tribute to all things 80’s from hyper colour t-shirts, big hair, even bigger shoulder pads, new wave music and of course Electropop. 

Today, the label is just as committed as it has been since its inception to send you back onto the multi-coloured dance floors with Welsh sister act ‘Electrovamp’ (with YouTube sensation Keenan Cahill in tow), reintroduced New Wave chameleon ‘Nathalie Archangel’ with her album ‘Raven’, multi award winning Australia cabaret turned synth popper ‘Kim Smith’ with his debut album ‘Nova’ spawning several singles along with Brandon Lee. 

In its vast catalog are releases by acts ranging from Ganymede and Empire State Human to NASA and Spray. Songs put out by NinthWave have been used in video games (such as Dance Dance Revolution) and TV shows (like “True Blood”). NinthWave’s Heaven 17 single, “Hands Up to Heaven,” even reached No. 6 on Billboard Magazine’s US Club Play Chart. 

Recently we lifted the veil of mystery surrounding Swedish producer Matt (aka Stormby) Eriksson’s Amelia’s Fault’, pop powerhouse Belinda Bennett, NYC Model/Popstar ‘Kaden’, electropop genius Richardo Autobahn and several EP’s from the still Sizzling hot and Jane Badler (aka Diana from the 1980’s version of the sci-fi cult hit ‘V’) and many more!

With multiple compilations featuring artists from all over the world to the official home of the ‘Moombahton / Moombahcore’ genre, I guess we can say we we like it all, especially the kind that gets you on the dance floor!

More recently, in 2013 Ninthwave Records became a part of BuGoudi House, an entertainment services company created to provide artists with a full suite of resources supporting their creativity, business needs and independence. Services include Publishing, Management and Booking.
