this track dives into the emotions of a breakup in a way that feels real and relatable. it blends indie rock energy w hip hop elements creating something that’s not boxed into one sound. the layered production really comes alive on headphones pulling u into the story but it’s also catchy enough to stick in ur head after the first listen. it hits that balance between emotional depth and a hook that makes u wanna run it back.

it never worked

I remember rapping with the lifers in San Quentin and promising that I'd put truth behind the music. I put a lot of thought into this track. It talks about the oppression males in the urban communities succumb too. It also dabbles a little into the women's perspective. Those single mothers who are doing their best to make ends meet. Hope you enjoy it.

P Smoov- Save Me Freestyle

Pulled up into the studio and heard the beat playing while one of the producers was listening to the song. I looked up the instrumental and vibed to it for a minute.  I felt an energy overcome me. I went into the booth and got off. The feeling is different when you know you the realest in the room but everybody fakin like they that "guy".  Fake love, fake friends, fake loyalty is something I don't have time for.
