CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

Niox: My local techno scene really showed me the amount of passion that you can feel for music. Although it is a small scene, local collectives taught me how to connect my emotions with music and turn it into a place of art, creativity and peace. Through this scene I discovered that music is how I feel most connected to myself and my emotions and in this way I have expressed them through dark and nostalgic sounds.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

Niox: This is my second set of hard industrial and the track selection includes many artists that since the beginning their music really means a lot to me because I can feel so much inspiration and all the love that I have for this genre and for the scene in general increases because of what they created. In my set you can find dark sounds with melodies and vocals inspired by another of the art forms that I love which is cinema.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

Niox: This set reflects that my style is to express sounds that are strong, dark but at the same time melodious and nostalgic. The evolution from my first set to this one reflects that I like the variety of sounds from vocals, screams and strong melodies.

Niox is an emerging DJ focused on dark and nostalgic melodies, inspired by genres like Hard Industrial, EBM and TBM. After years of connecting with electronic music from the dancefloor, she is looking to convey that same energy to her audience.
Her first set of Hard Industrial, influenced by artists such as 6ejou and Morsure, was released on 5 July 2024, followed by a second set released on 17 October through the Irish label Challenging Status Quo. Debuted live on October 26, 2024 at the event of the national collective Son Letal with his first set of EBM, consolidating her place on the scene.

Niox es una DJ emergente enfocada en melodías oscuras y nostálgicas, inspirada en géneros como Hard Industrial, EBM y TBM. Tras años conectando con la música electrónica desde el dancefloor, busca transmitir esa misma energía a su audiencia.
Su primer set de Hard Industrial, influenciado por artistas como 6ejou y Morsure, fue lanzado el 5 de julio de 2024, seguido por un segundo set publicado el 17 de octubre a través del sello irlandés Challenging Status Quo. Debutó en vivo el 26 de octubre de 2024 en el evento del colectivo nacional Son Letal con su primer set de EBM, consolidando su lugar en la escena.

Niox is a DJ whose musical project delves into a universe of dark melodies, offering an intense and emotional sound proposal for her audience. Her inspiration comes from genres such as Industrial, EBM, and Raw, which she authentically integrates into her style, shaping a unique and captivating sonic identity.
She released her first set on July 5, 2024, which was in the Hard Industrial genre, with references from DJs such as 6ejou, Morsure, Axciid, SAS, Pomah, Raxeller, Japau, among others. On October 17, 2024, her second Hard Industrial set was released, this time through the Irish label Challenging Status Quo. She made her debut on October 26, 2024, at the national collective event Son Letal, where she performed her first EBM set. She also debuted in Hard Industrial on March 8, 2025, with her collective Insurrectx.
