As I've been making many tracks over the years that were inspired by my trips around the world, I decided from now on to name them according to the place. A Dream of Goa is the first of the "A Dream of" series I'll be releasing every now and then. 

"A Dream of Goa" came after my first trip to Goa which was really special in many ways. Back then I was reading a book about the history of goatrance scene, so when I was there I spoke about this subject with many locals, artists, organizers and, of course, with Goa Gil. I stayed there for just one week but it was such an intensive and imersive learning experience that inspired me to make this track. I will never forget what I lived there. 
When I came back, I decided to use samples that were related to my experience there. Like Goa Gil talking about the early years of Goa, Swami William talking about "Goa is a state of mind" and people talking about how good it is to have a scooter there :D

A Dream of Goa é a primeira de uma série "A Dream of" de músicas que vou lançar de tempos em tempos. Como eu tenho feito muitas músicas ao longos dos anos que foram inspiradas pelas minhas viagens ao redor do mundo, decidi que de agora em diante nomear todas elas de acordo com o lugar. 

"A Dream of Goa" veio depois da minha primeira viagem à Goa que foi muito especial de diversas formas porque eu estava lendo um livro que contava a história do goatrance. Então enquanto eu estava lá, conversei sobre esse assunto com muitos locais, artistas, organizadores e, é claro, com o Goa Gil. Fiquei lá por apenas uma semana mas foi uma experiência de aprendizado bem intensa e imersiva que me inspirou a compor essa música. Nunca esquecerei o que vivenciei lá.
Quando voltei, decidi usar samples que estavam relacionados com essa experiência. Como o Goa Gil falando dos primeiros anos de Goa (tirado do documentário Last Hippie Standing), Swami William falando sobre "Goa ser um estado mental" e pessoas falando sobre como é bom ter uma moto lá :D
