Fernando is a Colombo based Electronic DJ that has been playing his take on Techno at numerous events in the Island.

The sound of Fernando is a blend between modern day Techno & contemporary progressive melodies. By the use of haunting chords, mysterious strings & dark bass lines Fernando tries to take the listeners on a journey through his mind and aims to visualize a unique storyline during his every performance. Dark, yet uplifting, mysterious and exclusive are all terms that come to mind when exploring the the sound of this young DJ.

In the progressive, tech and deep house-dominated nightlife of Sri Lanka, Sunara Jay stands out by instead choosing to explore around the genres of glitch-hop, hip-hop, funk and nu-jazz. Consequently, the DJ and visual artist has been counted upon to represent the island's alternative underground culture with shows in Norway, UK, Germany, Pakistan and India. 

With a practice of spanning over a decade of spinning tracks to different types of audiences, Sunara knows well to use the console as an instrument and how a set can elevate a track beyond its standalone value – as she does on her Wild City mix. 

Venturing into assortments of glitch over the steady rhythm of house music, the selections are consistently sparse and spacious, assuming an ambient nature even with their softly thumping energy as you settle into the experience. The mercurial basslines keep one hooked while the off-kilter elements feel nothing short of a musical dream, which Sunara plays to by throwing in echoes and other time-based manipulations every once in a while. It's a trip that leaves you relaxed than tired.

This episode of the Sonic Loom Downtempo series @ Radiozora takes a deep dive into STEFAN TORTO ’s musical world, driven by cinematic landscapes and magical harmonies, overflowed by intelligent beats & tribal rhythms. Born in Athens and self-educated in guitar, piano, percussion and music technology, Stefanos Tortopoglou (aka Stefan Torto) has been involved in various forms of electronic and natural sound from the age of 7.  As a composer-sound designer he has composed music for mapping projection, campaign videos, hologram and virtual reality presentations of major companies such as Nike, Redbull, Heineken, Microsoft, Vodafone, Samsung, National Geographic and many more.  In addition, as a stage musician and as a sound designer, he has participated in theatrical performances of the National Theatre Of Greece and other productions, touring in ancient Greek theatres and worldwide.  Several of his tracks have been released in music compilations and used for film/short film productions worldwide.  Also Co-founder and composer of the Zen Garden and Dreamakers multi performance projects. Finally, as a sound designer he researched and created sound libraries and musical software instruments for major(VST/AU).
