Kanakuzu is a soundscape journey in three parts.
Kanakuzu is a word for scrap metal, steel scrap, filings.
It is also the name of the river flowing near our home.
Our home was built on the site of what had been a small metalworking factory.
These tracks are about fragments of metal and fragments of life and experience.

Colin Newman’s three classic early ’80s solo albums, A-Z, provisionally entitled the singing fish and Not To, originally released on Beggars Banquet/4AD, are being re-released this October on his own new imprint, Sentient Sonics.

Vinyl: The three remastered original albums, not available for many years on vinyl, will be released as single albums.

CD: The three remastered original albums are each accompanied by a companion CD of extra tracks, B-sides and demos, many of which have never been released. Each will be a double digipack.
