Nite Patrol’s Escape From 2023 New Year’s Eve Mix

I made this mixtape in anticipation for the 2024 Vapor Shave Online Fundraiser. Founded by Australian producer, DJ and musician Daydream Deluxe, Vapor Shave is an annual charity event hosted on Twitch. It's purpose is to support suicide prevention and mental health awareness. The event unites a variety of artists and DJ's in the electronic Future Funk and Vaporwave community globally for a two day online music event.

In 2020, I pursued music as a creative outlet to cope with stressful conditions caused by events of the pandemic. In the years since, I've learned many things about myself and connected with many people that create and contribute to the growth of the Future Funk and Vaporwave communities. 

I dedicate this set to Daydream Deluxe for his inspiration in helping me believe that I could find a way forward in the world of music and his cause to help people who struggle in life and feel that can't find their way forward when life seems overwhelming and impossible to cope with.

I also want to thank my friends at Team Discotheque (96 FM, Mr. Chibes, and Care) for helping me make this mixtape and improve as a DJ and artist and taking this journey with NITE PATROL to new levels of possibilities.
