Hailing from the north of the Netherlands, MA-GØ has been producing since 2016. Ambient, ethereal, dark, sinister, celestial, and melancholic are the words often used to describe his productions. Despite carrying those aspects into his music, the output MA-GØ has online is very diverse, having tranches in genres like: Wave, Neo-grime, Phonk and many more. Because of his versatile sound MA-GØ has landed releases and received support from several labels and collectives such as Sekai Collective, The Games We Play, Cyberwave Collective, DSWL, and more.

"Discovering artists from several genres got me into music production. I was always drawn to early electronic music from the 90’s and tunes with an ethereal and melodic feel to it, which motivated me to try to make pieces that conveyed the same feel" - MA-GØ says." The melancholic, cold, ethereal and sinister soundscapes that wave tracks carry are very similar to the ones I try to capture when I write my music. I like to think in dimensions and different energies which helps me create tunes that translate into an ethereal vibe. My influences vary from a lot of genres and eras. The list would be endless but I will include: Clams Casino, Yung gud, Whitearmor, Øfdream, Gl00my, Sokos, Visene, Brothel, Barnacle Boi, Backwhen, Famitsu, Kareful, Dark0."
