History

Dan Clarke became obsessed with rave mixtapes in the early '90', quickly progressing to getting a set of turntables and starting a huge vinyl collection. 

Throughout university in Manchester he DJ'ed at various venues including Dry Bar, The Attic and Joshua Brooks. 

Fast forward to the last few years and he has been a resident DJ for the Minstrels Project playing at a number of local venues including Ego Dance Emporium and LOOP Bar in Blackburn as well as Sunbird Records in Darwen. A guest mix for the Lucius Lowe show on Chorley FM also brought him to a wider audience. 

Constantly pushing underground music, his sound now reaches across a wide spectrum, from deep afro beats through to melodic breaks and everything in-between. His 20+ years DJing experience makes him an agile selector who is always evolving.

Tidal Lock is a Producer and DJ hailing from Bangalore, India. His journey into electronic music began with his love for the nightlife and club culture, where he discovered his passion for the deep, hypnotic sounds of electronic music. Over time, he transitioned from being a partygoer to a creator, crafting his own unique sound and releasing original tracks on renowned record labels such as Sinedie Records, Electric Wave Records, Differed Records, and Destiny Records.
Tidal Lock has been traveling the world, sharing his music in countries like Switzerland and the USA, and has been based in Australia for the past 10 years, where he continues to refine his craft and captivate audiences. Known for his ability to seamlessly blend progressive house, melodic techno, and techno, Tidal Lock’s sets are a perfect mix of deep, emotive melodies and high-energy beats, designed to keep the dance floor alive.
