Darren Montgomery A.K.A Nitrodren was 15 when he began making Trap beats on a demo version of Fruity Loops studio. Now 21, Nitrodren has fine tuned his Trap sound while simultaneously gaining popularity for his "Freak It" mixes, he delivers a very recognizable and invigorating sound. His listeners are predominantly from Hartford, Connecticut the birthplace of the Freak It dance. Many kids/teens across the northeast enjoy creating triller videos to his music “Freaking It” or “Dummin Out”. Dummin Out was mostly presented by Zoe, a groundbreaking Hartford artist that passed away in December of 2017. The dance has been big in Hartford for years but it is now becoming popular in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York in part due to the increasing popularity of Nitro's music.  Nitro is amongst some of the brightest stars in Connecticut, paving the way for the elevation of the Nutmeg state's national musical standing. On his current trajectory it is undeniable that Nitrodren will leave a special mark on CT and soon break into the mainstream- but for now he'll continue to keep the kids dancing and college parties across the Northeast bangin'. Fast forward to 2023 Nitro is fully committed to mixing at events as a DJ. The world will recognize Nitro soon... time just hasn't caught up yet.
