us par rehti sukh chāyā
tērī mahimā tūhī jānē

Whoever meditates on Your name,
Upon them lies the cool shade of happiness.
You alone know the glory of Thy name,
The little One of Shiva and Parvati.

tērī chavi ati sundar sukh dāyak

tū cār bhujādhārī mastak sindūrī rūp nirālā

You have four arms, vermilion marked forehead and a unique form;
The mouse is your vehicle, You are the protector of the whole world;
Your beautiful form pervades the mind;

When the lamp of Your name is lit, the stream of happiness flows in the heart;
You are remembered at every worship;
You are the first among all to bestow blessings.
