@eichldn lands on @rinsefm for her first release of 2023, following her debut EP on her own imprint @more-cowbell last year.

The single pays homage to Eich's early, formative days of listening to Rinse. 'Bleak' is an original take on the sound that had taken over the station when she was getting into dance music.

Having recently featured on the acclaimed 'Introductions EP, Part 1...' Greek label artist and Berlin resident - Keinton - unveils his stunning follow up single: 'Strip Poker'. Influenced by his insomnia inducing card sessions the single carries the deep air of the city late at night; a city lost in a sea of darkness and tranquility, save that one beacon of life, that glimmering light, the repetitive beat from below, that draws us in, like moths to the flame.

On the flip we have two mixes from the masterful GummiHz. A fellow greek in Berlin and close friend and confidant, Alex (GummiHz) simply insisted on offering two mixes as soon as he heard the original, each drawing it in opposite directions. His 'Reduced Mix' demonstrates a restraint and subtlety that belie it's complex cinematic depth, whilst the 'Pshycoacoustic Space Design' serves up intelligent peak-time techno that will have dance floor's shaking across the globe this season. Released as 300 exclusive limited-edition vinyls, followed by general digital release.

Next up, "God Jam It" digs deeper, moving towards a more classic house vibe. After an initial breakbeat moment, the tune back on track with the 4/4 structure, leaving to sharp drums the chance to shine at their best. Kick and bass shake the bottom. Analog pads and stabs create a gentle and flowing harmonic layer, sidechain and wise compression make it spot on in the overall mix. The continuous shift between breakbeat and straight phases is made to perfection and adds a note of interest to a very well-rounded track. The combination between a female (super housey!) and a male vocal samples its the cherry on the cake as it fits so well with the 90s lead on the drops as well as the whole mood of the track.
