Paco Osuna is back on his record label, Mindshake, with a percussive tech house EP that also features a remix by Wheats.

One of Spain's most iconic electronic music artists, Paco Osuna's career spans over two decades, and during this time he has played at many of the world's most prestigious underground events ranging from Ibiza super clubs to festival mainstages.

Not only has Paco Osuna played headline DJ shows in all four corners of the globe, he is also an esteemed producer who has released tracks and remixes on influential record labels such as Moon Harbour, Drumcode, Bedrock, M_nus and Defected.

On remix duty, Wheats is a UK artist who makes a return to Mindshake after dropping an EP via the record label in 2023. He has also featured his stripped back and hypnotic style of house music on other respected imprints such as Hottrax, Sola, Solid Grooves, Saved and Circus.

"Beat Heat" is the first of the two original tracks on the release, and it gets things moving with flowing percussion and a funky bassline that lays a foundation for trumpets and warped vocals. "New For Me" is a percussive track with tribal touches and rhythmic vocal textures. Wheats' closes the release with a remix of "New For Me" that strips away some of the drums to make space for deep synths that add trippy atmosphere.
