RARA flips house music on its head. It’s fast, loud, and unbothered, built on high-energy drums and a pulse that doesn’t quit. The track hits with that classic four-on-the-floor drive, but there’s this extra spark in it, a weird little swagger in the sound design that makes it feel like house music from a parallel universe. It’s bright, jumpy, and wired to make people move, but there’s a curveball in the groove that keeps you guessing. RARA is house, but evolved, mutated, leveled up.

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

It’s been nearly 15 years since we started making music together as Casino Times. Two albums, 10 EPs and a load more singles and remixes later, and we’re now both Dads trying to navigate a very different world to the one we knew when we started messing around with synths in Joe’s bedroom.

Between all the moments in time, different people and places, we’ve built up a huge library of unreleased music. We’ve been slowly sharing some of this via WMD?, but the older (and clearly more reflective) we’ve become, we’ve started to realise that no one benefits from us sitting on this mountain of music.

We watch a huge archive of music collect digital dust. You don’t get a chance to hear it.

That’s we’re kicking off our new Human Data (HD) series on WMD? We’ll be putting out a single a week for the next few months exclusively on our Bandcamp and then on stores as we progress.

What does Human Data mean? It’s the connection we have to the digital world, parts us we leave behind imprinted in 1s and 0s. The music we’re showcasing via the HD series, doesn’t have a style. Some of it is fully formed club tracks and some ambient sketches, some emotive and some just a bit weird. All of the tracks though hopefully transports you to a memory or point in your own story.

One of the most challenging things we’ve found with releasing music is curation. 

We’re always making such varied sounds, that sometimes trying to build a narrative can be tricky. We tend to find on an EP, we’re pulling in lots of different directions, bringing together new ideas and old sketches. These could be stylistic similar or just capture a similar vibe. The end result is a bit of a melting pot of genres.

Circular perfectly encapsulates this. It’s house, breaks and a touch of new wave analog funk, all moulded together. We couldn’t think of a better track to kick off the series.

This time we present Analog Man, from the great Israeli artist and producer SparroX. Shlomi aka. SparroX is a talented producer and dj based in the beautiful city of Eilat, Israel. With an amazing dj career on his shoulders, Shlomi is very clear about the sound he seeks to achieve and to develop. He has found in his most recent productions the way to the musical uniqueness, which defines him as a DJ and as a music producer. 

His lastet EP, Analog Man clearly reflects the impregnated progressive style he has developed over the years. SparroX is not afraid of to go too deep in his productions and to create very emotional musical environments. In this fantastic EP three unique songs are included. 

Analog Man, called as the album itself, it's a fascinating track, which involves a solid and sticky bass line, featuring also some distinctive vocals blended with shifting melodies. 

Beat Electric expososes a tremendous melody with harmonious and angelic athmospheres, exceptional choirs and lots of energy on it's beat. 

Before the Noise is the most progressive and dark song of the EP. It is enriched by engaging melodies and hypnotic athmospheres that take you to a state of trance. You only have to let you go and feel the touching melodies and the deep beats.
