"Pacman's Revenge"
Written and recorded by Roger Gunnarsson and Thomas Johansson in Studio Mindbender, Halmstad 1998.

This is the very first track with me and Thomas calling ourselves Intellivision. Originally we only did songs with some connection to retro computer games ('Commando Rap' uploaded here a while ago, for example). This one is no exception, a mix between slapstick italodisco (Scotch, Baltimora etc) and gaming references.
The lyric is about Pacman taking revenge on mankind after being outdated.
Musically we picked a lot of inspiration from some HiEnergy-italo favourites from the mid 80s, most obviously "Love Spy" by Mike Mareen.
The reporter's name, Dan Tracey, was of couse a nod towards Dan Traecy of indieband Television Personalities, which I was totally obsessed with at the time. Not very much of that obession to be found in this song apart from that.
A fun memory though.
