‘Break It Up' is Nixti's first release on Smudge Music, a fusion of hard-hitting drums, spacey atmosphere, hypnotic bass and hip-hop rhymes – with words courtesy of MC ‘ABD’ from <a href="http://www.myspace.com/alphabetix30ts" target=new>The Alphabetix</a>.

Quantax - Rebuild (Nixti & Tarn Remix) [Smudge Music]

Nixti is a Leeds based electronic producer creating sounds that blend old-skool dub, soundscapes and cutting edge dubstep.

Having grown up listening to hip-hop, reggae, 90s electronica and a wide variety of rock music, he draws on elements from all these genres within his production, weaving this in with his love for the deeper and more experimental side of dubstep. 

Outside the studio, he uses Ableton for his live sets with the eventual goal being to blend live instrumentation within the club environment.
