On Saturday, September 20th, 2014 at 1912hrs the final call for Earl "Jim" Artle, Past Captain of Highlands EMS (Squad 17-21) was announced. Jim passed away at the age of 63 after a long battle with ALS. 

Jim you touched countless lives & your lifesaving work here is done. Rest in peace.

Final Call for Highlands EMS Past Captain Earl "Jim" Artle

Class II Special Officer Robert Henne of the Fair Haven Police Department, Monmouth County, New Jersey, was posthumously promoted to the rank of Patrolman. Patrolman Robert Henne #37 passed away on March 23rd, 2015 at the age of 23. 

Officer Henne served the Borough since 2011. He was a graduate of the 39th Basic Course for Class II Special Law Enforcement Officers of Monmouth County. Officer Henne was a squad leader while attending the Monmouth County Police Academy and he graduated in the top of his class. Officer Henne received a life saving award from both the Borough of Fair Haven and the 200 Club. He also had received letters of commendation while serving the Borough. Officer Henne was 23yrs old. He served our community with great pride and dedication, both as a Class II Officer and a Volunteer Firefighter. 

Rest in peace brother, we'll take it from here.

On Monday July 27th, 2015 Senior Public Safety Telecommunicator Kevin O'Brien, 69C1, was called 10-7, out of service, as he entered into retirement. SPST O'Brien served 30+ years with the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office Communications Division & will be dearly missed. Thank you for your many dedicated years of service to the public Kevin, we wish you the best of luck in your retirement!
