Recorded circa 2000, Crosswinds is an original electronic music composition by Julia Muench on a K-2000. Amazing what could be done back then. I have  uploaded a photo from a camping trip in 2020 Warren County, PA  when we had a black bear invade our space. Fun trip!

Going to the way back...1980, I was giving my first full piano recital at Gusman Concert Hall University of Miami. This "scherzo" of Chopin's is a wild and beautiful ride. Recorded as a Live performance by Julia Muench.

Here is a beautiful prelude by Chopin, not often heard. This is from my 1980 debut piano recital Gusman Concert Hall , University of Miami.  Live recorded performance by Julia Muench.  This piece was probably composed by Chopin when he was visiting Mallorca, Spain with author and close friend, George Sand. Some interesting history.

Julia Muench is an American born pianist, composer and arranger.  She is currently on the faculty at the Count Basie Center for the Arts, teaching piano, voice and music theory. Julia teaches and performs the great masters and creates  her own piano compositions. Her many years of research into ethnomusicology and dance can be seen in her own body of work. Julia’s Nautilus Dances chamber piece took first place Audience Choice Award at the Subtropics Music Festival in Miami Beach, Florida in 2013.

Julia Muench has performed numerous piano and chamber concerts over the past 20 years in various parts of the country, including Florida, Virginia, New Jersey and Missouri.

Julia Muench currently resides in New Jersey and is on the Piano Faculty at the Monmouth Conservatory of Music Red Bank, NJ  through the Count Basie Center for the Arts.
