I get a taste of my pain each day when I see my face.
I take a look in the mirror, I feel like such a waste.
I think of you mama. It seems that I just took your place.
I pray to God, but inside I'm like I used up my grace.

I'm sick of therapists tellin me how to live my life.
They couldn't handle the sadness that I see through my eyes.

I'm writing these lyrics so you can let your spirits grow.
It's not the healthy that need a doctor and lots of love.
It's the one's with a sickness eating their feelings up.
The one's that cry in a corner and swear they've had enough.

Just another shadow in the dark.
Looking for the light, but I don't where I should start.
Living on my own has only torn my life apart.
I put the blame on God, but really I'm the one at fault.
This sickness has been eating at my stomach.
I pray at night, but never think to say your name in public.
My life is being drenched in pain, I ask and then you cover it.
The only time I thank you for my life is when I'm loving it.

Life isn't so scary when the Lord is on your side.
The worry seems to die, and the tears just leave your eyes.
The fear, it runs and hides, because the hope in you resides.
That God the Holy Father placed into you with his might.
He's keeping you away from harm, so feel the love within his arms.
Things won't always go your ways, when troubles come don't be alarmed.
Just focus on his endless love, He'll never let it get too far.
