Following on from his incredible contribution to the first Activia Frenz compilation, and still sweaty from touring with Russian super-band Mumiy Troll for weeks on end, DZA comes with a solid EP of truly invigorating futuristic cool shit! For this release, Activia Benz have teamed up with DZA's very own label How2Make and both are hugely excited to be a part of this occasion.

The Big Bang EP is a mish mash of atmospheric video game music and hard hitting club stuff. The type of music that gets the dance floor sticky with tears and beers in equal measure. Also included on the EP is a remix from Activia Benz affiliate and fellow Moscow badass 813, who flips Fluffernutter into his own hyper-cool party music.

This EP has to be heard to be believed. It's really good.

France’s Olympe4000 joins forces with DJ Physical this June to release their new ‘Hack Me I’m Famous’ EP, perfectly blending together their individual high octane styles across five original cuts.

In recent years French producer and DJ Olympe4000 has been steadily etching her mark on the contemporary electronic music scene through her residency radio show on Rinse France, festival appearances and output on her Adrenaline Quality imprint. Here she returns to her own label once again, this time round though, collaborating with DJ Physical, notably known for releases on Shall Not Fade’s Lost Palms sub-label, 1Ø PILLS MATE, Molekül and Life In Patterns among others.

Opening the EP is ‘Sex Symbol Sex Target’, perfectly setting the tone for the EP through a combination of ethereal pads, swinging breaks, murky acid bass and crisp, saturated percussion. Title-track ‘Hack Me I’m Famous’ follows, laying down stuttering trance like melodies and airy atmospherics atop a bouncy bass groove and bumpy drums. ‘Name Drop Me’ is up next, shifting gear back to a frenzied acid lines at its core alongside sporadic amen breaks, cinematic strings and a sturdy rhythm section.

‘Free Access To Nothing’ then sees the duo veer into deeper realms with delicate synth textures and twitchy arpeggios floating atop choppy bass stabs and heavily swung percussion. ‘Out Of The Race’ then rounds out the release, fully embracing a jungled tinged aesthetic this time courtesy of roots reggae vocal lines, heavy doses of sub bass and the genre’s iconic shuffled drum breaks.

Joining the producer and connoisseur in experimental club sounds, is a prestigious roll of guests - from Boysnoize Records' Spank Rock, to Sydney's Marcus Whale (from Collarbones, Black Vanilla), Norway's Henrik the Artist and the previously heard Eden xo on cut "Sideline".

Alongside "Sideline", come four unheard tracks - each highlighting how groundbreaking Swick can be, as he takes dance music to something that's unlike anything else out there. From a high energy club track that zips, pops and clicks with Henrik the Artist, to a dark and rolling collaboration with Spank Rock - this is Swick at his most creative.
