Pure Immanence (Nick Bazzano and Kiddo Sincere) are known for their psychedelic take on pounding techno and ambient soundscapes alike - often merging the two on dancefloors to gloriously transcendent effect. They're residents at NYC's most forward-thinking techno party Unter and curate its ambient room, plus they also have a monthly residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club every last Wednesday of the month. They’ve also recently performed at Sustain Release, Aphotic, and Fourth World. The recording file from their original session at The Lot got corrupted so they decided to take the opportunity to do something special and we couldn't be happier with the mind-bending result.

Pure Immanence ran with the theme of our March 2018 party, "Encounters with Genderless Aliens from Another Universe," as evidenced in this otherworldly live recording.  

The duo are residents at Brooklyn’s roving underground techno staple Unter, where they curate and perform ambient.  Their popular Wednesday-night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club will celebrate its 2nd anniversary this July.  In August, Pure Immanence will be back in Berlin joining the Unter crew + Buttons & other queer Berlin party collectives at this year's Whole Festival (Aug 24-27  www.wholefestival.com )

Pure Immanence - Luxury Escapism

@pureimmanence is the DJ duo of Nick Bazzano (@nmb2115) and @kiddosincere. They are residents with New York underground queer rave collective Unter, and hold a popular eponymous Wednesday night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club that will celebrate its two-year anniversary this July. This set was performed and recorded live at Sustain-Release 2017 around a campfire in the forest during a misty sunrise from 5am to 10am on Saturday morning. Pure Immanence will perform at The Bunker Pride on June 29 at Elsewhere in a chill-out room collaboration with residents from Hypnotic Spa.

They are residents with New York underground queer rave collective Unter, where they have been able to craft a sound that includes and entangles psychedelic techno, ambient moodscapes, and experimental electronic grooves. They also hold an eponymous Wednesday-night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club which just celebrated its two-year anniversary this past July. Pure Immanence has been privileged to perform for and work with various rave collectives and festivals both locally and abroad, including Sustain-Release, Fourth World, Buttons, Pornceptual, and the WHOLE United Queer Festival.

Pure Immanence is the conceptual collaborative DJ project of Kiddo Sincere and Nick Bazzano, blending techno, ambient, house, trance, experimental, and archival sonic esoterica into a diverse array of immersive psychedelic moods, grooves, and atmospheres.

Pure Immanence is the collaborative conceptual DJ project of Nick Bazzano and Kiddo Sincere. In their performances, Pure Immanence seeks to activate a sonic plane of consistency that evokes multiple musical atmospheres and genres, from techno to ambient, to house, trance, progressive, experimental, and beyond. This is an experiment using sound to gain access to psychedelic intensities and affective potentials immanent to the act of listening and dancing to music together. Pure Immanence has held a well-received eponymous monthly Wednesday-night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club since 2016. 

Pure Immanence is also associated with the Unter collective, having performed as residents and having curated ambient programming for their various underground queer rave projects for years.

Q. How would you describe yourself?
Kiddo: Oh I don't know, I'm pretty introverted. I usually let Nick do this type of stuff. 
Nick: I guess we could say that we like to think of ourselves as more of an idea or a concept than a group? 
Kiddo: Yeah, we're what you'd call a classic collaboration. 
Nick: A duet?
Kiddo: Yeah, we like to harmonize. 

Q. How long have you been a part of the NYC music scene?
Kiddo: Combined, we have over twenty years of experience smoking weed in the NYC music scene. 
Nick: Yeah, I don't really have much to add to that. 
Kiddo: I think the figures speak for themselves. 

Q. Tell us about this mix.
Nick: So we were definitely channeling deep mycelium mesh-network vibes with this one...
Kiddo: Yeah, like, à la carte offerings from the Wood Wide Web. 
Nick: Full-spectrum multi-tempo psychospiritual Dr. Quinn journeywoman type jams for your autumnal vibe re-alignment.
