Following the release of lead single ‘Answer’ featuring SOHMI, Spanish DJ and producer Dosem presents double A-side ‘Conjunction / Unjetlag’, the second release from his upcoming album ‘Desire’, set to drop on August 30th via Anjunadeep.

With a career spanning over 15 years, Marc Dosem released his debut album ‘Parallel’ in 2011 on former Hong Kong imprint Sino and first teamed up with Anjunadeep in 2018 on two-track single ‘Not A Coincidence / Why Give Up Before We Try’. Known for his club anthems that have soundtracked late nights and early mornings on dancefloors around the world, Dosem has released on Toolroom, Armada, Purified and his own label Houstrike, alongside delivering remixes for the likes of Hot Since 82, Above & Beyond and Eli & Fur. He is also well known for his 2021 collaboration with Tinlicker, ‘Hypnotised’, which has racked up over 10 million streams across all platforms.

An artist who’s always in demand, Dosem has already completed headline tours in Australia and the USA this year, and has recently played in London, Tokyo and his hometown of Girona. Alongside these appearances, Marc has appeared on festival stages at Ultra Miami, Sónar Festival, SXM Festival and Tomorrowland, and been supported by Boiler Room, who aired his set from Girona’s Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya all the way back in 2017.

In the four years since his previous artist album ‘Dream Decoder’, Dosem has continued to finesse his signature blend of progressive and deep house designed to get people moving and bring crowds of like-minded music lovers together.

His new album, ‘Desire’, is heavily influenced by ’90s progressive house and techno, and reflects their euphoric, deep, and atmospheric qualities through a modern lens. Across its twelve tracks, the LP explores themes of community, connection, and passion.

“‘Desire’ is my homage to and vision of progressive house, a genre that had a significant impact on me when I first started listening to electronic music. It is a return to my roots through an album that captures the experience of falling in love on a dancefloor, during the sunset of an eternal summer, where the rhythm grows like a wave until it reaches a climax of escapist euphoria; that magical moment of connection with oneself and with others. An album that blends emotion, rhythm, and passion. Desire is an emotion that contains those ingredients and is something profoundly human that moves us and drives us to act, an eternal vital rhythm that resonates with dance. On the two new tracks of ‘Conjunction / Unjetlag’, Dosem showcases his flair for productions that are at once a nuanced listen at home, and a real moment on the dancefloor. His club-ready anthems make a statement in any set, and recent single  ‘Answer’ featuring SOHMI has already received support from Eelke Kleijn, Hernán Cattáneo, Miss Melera, 8kays, Jody Wisternoff and Fur Coat. Other standout tracks from the album include ‘Ethernal’, a collaboration with Anjunadeep regular HANA on vocals, and high-energy club track ‘Tranced House’, which are sure to delight fans and fellow producers alike.
