⮯ VOLQUETE is a party and music platform that was born in 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its main goal is to promote artists and producers who investigate resonant and percussive music. It’s curated by Callwso and @remiseria-temperley (with whom we made a recent premiere).

⮯ "Yapa Rayada" is the name of the first V.A. album and recording material from the Volquete label/party. Condensing the aura of the port basements, various South American producers experiment with the mixture between local rhythms and the rawness of a sound designed to scratch the rubble. We have the delight of premiering the track „Festejo Party Music“ by Peruan Philadelphia-based DJ, producer and activist @precolumbian

Microhm presents "Entrelazada," a five-track EP that delves deep into contemporary sound design. In this project, the Mexican artist deconstructs and rebuilds rhythms of the Latin diaspora, pushing genres like dembow, reggaeton, dancehall, and cumbia into uncharted territories. With a minimalist and futuristic approach, each track immerses the listener in meticulously synthesized soundscapes, where electronic textures and latent pulses blend to create an auditory experience that challenges club conventions, straddling the line between the classic and the avant-garde.

This EP also features 6 stunning remixes by Zutzut, Imaabs, Lyo XS, Ruiseñor, Entrañas, and Benfika + Pegaso. Every track has been carefully mastered by Imaabs, with cover art by Sofia Papadopoulos.

In this musical grimoire, artists explore melancholy in different forms, mirrors of the creative spirit that manifest through music. This compilation also seeks to make creativity and experimentation in music a central theme in its creations, aiming to push and play with the boundaries of Latin electronic music and, in general, the imagination of the people involved in this project. Through different perspectives and approaches, artists seek to create and share their music in an authentic and honest way, expressing genuine and profound feelings.
