Music people can dance to is and should always be about ENERGY. This energy can hopefully transmit itself whether experienced alone in a familiar setting or in large space full of strangers. I think it's better when it's fucking raw and rather unapologetic over how it achieves that. Life is constantly in and out of control and we're all developing various filters to try to get a grasp of things. There's no point these days to stick to assumed standards. Mash it all up, ransack and learn from history to get to the future whilst getting some asses to twitch.
