Alex Bober’s music is a gentle, tender retrospective of an innocent heart. The main themes addressed by the artist are childhood, nature and memories. Soft textures filled with naturalness and uncomplicated melodism are a characteristic feature of his music. Alex is a passionate sound artist exploring the naivety in the world of sound, his composing approach reminds of children's drawings - sincere and beautiful in their imperfections.
Bober began experimenting with sound in 2015, gradually paving his own way and shaping his own style. In 2017, he begins releasing his work under his own name. Alex has released two LPs and is now working on the third one.

"An Overview of Plant Life" - An expansive mix of just over 60 minutes of relaxing tones, drones, and hypnotic patterns to self isolate with. Curated and created while in quarantine in Brooklyn NYC during the final week of March - I should have been practicing for a set at (now postponed) BAK DOR event in Detroit, instead a few new mixes emerged.  The first to emerge was "Let Some Air In", which featured more beats and experimental textures. This project followed and is geared more for quiet reflection, and the track selection focuses on gentler pieces that play out like the soundtrack for a vintage nature documentary. 
In addition to a mostly brand-new batch of experimental ambient favs, I have mixed in many unreleased field recordings of water sources, and found audio of real nature docs from the 60s and 70s.
