A different journey this time inspired by the songs I played at new year's eve for my lovely friends. It starts off super melodic with a peak of dark techno and tech house and ending again with melodic and african beats. Enjoy!

Nora wurde in Essen geboren und wuchs in Westfalen auf. Nach ihrem Studium – unter anderem drei Jahre in Australien – und einer beruflichen Stippvisite in Luxemburg zog sie Anfang 2017 nach Kölle. Kunst hat Nora schon immer fasziniert, zunächst als Malerin und seit Anfang 2020 auch als Techno-DJane.

1. Wie bist du zur elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Anfang 2016 hat es mich voll erwischt, als mich meine beiden jüngeren Brüder ins JackWho zu Monolink mitgenommen haben. Danach war es quasi um mich geschehen und der Weg von Trier nach Köln war mir danach an den Wochenenden relativ egal. Ich habe es einfach genossen, in diese faszinierende und fesselnde Musik abzutauchen. Mein erstes elektronisches Festival sollte dann auch noch folgen, das Katzensprung auf Gut Haarbecke.

2. Und wie bist du dann zum Auflegen gekommen?

Mein Freund ist schon seit bestimmt 25 Jahren DJ und hat auch ordentlich Equipment zu Hause stehen. Da blieb es natürlich nicht aus, dass ich mich daran auch mal ausprobieren wollte und so kam vor ca. eineinhalb Jahren eins zum anderen.

3. Wie würdest du deinen Sound beschreiben? 

Am Anfang war ich ganz klar vom Melodic-Techno-Genre vereinnahmt. Dort fühle ich mich zwar immer noch zu Hause, doch mittlerweile hat mich das bouncige TechHouse à la Criminal Bassline und das deepe und darke Techno von Jaw Dropping, Jannowitz, Terminal M oder eines Maksim Darks so richtig gepackt. Ich mag auch das Kölner Duo Hidden Empire total gerne. Wie man auch an der Tracklist sieht. Vier Tracks von ihrem neuen Album „Lost Spirit“ umrahmen meinen Podcast für euch. Auch im Stil des Syrers Karim Alkhayat finde ich mich total wieder. Dieses aufbauende Harte und zugleich Epische mit teilweise unter die Haut gehenden Vocals ist genau meins. Und auch das dreckige, hingerotzte und trippige wie beim Crescendoll Remix von „Biolapsus“, ebenfalls auf meinem Podcast, mag ich sehr. In meinem neuen Set werden dann eher Joseph Disco, Daniel Jaeger, Jan Oberländer und Co. und auch wieder Tracks vom bereits hochgelobten Karim Alkhayat zu finden sein. Das Ding hat dann ebenfalls ordentlich Wumms, versprochen 😊

4. Was waren deine bisherigen musikalischen Highlights als DJane?

Leider wurden ja, wie wir alle wissen, im März 2020 die Clubs dicht gemacht. Zum Glück durfte ich bei zwei privaten Veranstaltungen in der Tausend Bar und in der LORDation spielen. Das hat in jedem Fall unendlich Bock auf mehr gemacht! 

5. Apropos, auf was freust du dich am meisten nach dieser unsäglichen Pandemie?

Wieder mal so richtig eine Nacht durchtanzen, in gute Restaurants gehen, mich einfach frei bewegen und natürlich auf Gigs vor Publikum.

Die Nummer 12 schustert uns dieses Wochenende der Berliner @benz-nat-rlich .

Vor 19 Jahren fing es damit an; ihm wurden 2 Plattenteller, ein Mixer und Hip Hop Platten geschenkt. Nun ist er 32 Jahre und spielt Techno. Was ist passiert?
Als er erkannte, dass die neuen, teuren Hip-Hop Platten sich alle ziemlich gleich anhörten (viele Ausnahmen vorhanden), beschloss er, inspiriert von von seinem Bruder, lieber gleich Techno, Minimal etc. zu spielen. Seitdem ist viel passiert. Benz Natürlich erklärte sich selbst zum Raketenwissenschaftler. Es wurde mit Freunden das "Komitee der guten Laune" gegründet, welches schon den ein oder anderen berüchtigtiden Rave in und um Berlin organisierte. Mit seinem Bruder zusammen, gründete er das kommunistische Dj-Ensamble "Funkenflug & Flächenbrand", was für Solidairtät so ziemlich alles plattwalzt, welcher dieser Solidarität im Wege steht.
Aber eigentlich ist Benz Natürlich (mit bürgerlichen Namen Benedikt Maria) ein sympathischer Typ; abgesehen von seinem dogmatischen Sound!

Heinrich & Heine isn't only a passionate music enthusiast, but one of the most fastest rising electronic acts in Germany. A long time dj with a successful story for a musical lifestyle. Within a very short period of time he made himself a name in the local Techno scene of Hamburg, and later on also across Germany and even Europe. Probably his biggest milestone is the residency at BKI:Kiezinternat, one of Hamburg’s most renowned clubs directly in the heart of the world famous red-light district. Since 2010 he spread his message and the good vibes from this place to be. After lots of releases on several national and international labels, he realised, that his music had even more potential, so he decided to found his own label called Amber Recordings (@amberrec), where he release amazing Techno and Tech-House tracks and only a short time after that, Amber Blue Recordings followed, focusing on melodic and deep House music.

Nora was born in Essen and raised in a small town near Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia. After her studies – amongst others for three years in Australia and a short two year working experience in Luxemburg – she finally moved to Cologne in 2017.

Art has always been fascinating to Nora. She started to paint since she has been 14, she has been dancing since she was able to listen to music and in 2016 she fell in love with Techno. In 2020 she finally started to turn the tables. 

Nora loves art that makes her smile even on the rainiest day. Her paintings are as colorful, bright and diverse as her sets. They come with a great variation within the melodic techno genre, bouncy tech house such as Criminal Bassline or Heinz Music and deep and dark techno such as Jaw Dropping, Jannowitz, Subios, Phobos, Terminal M or AlpaKa MuziK. 

Nora loves the sound of Karim Alkhayat and Anahit Vardanyan. Their hard and at the same time epic and dramatic and touching peaks are exactly what she likes. Also the kinky style of Joseph Disco and Daniel Jaeger are just her style.

Deep, melodic house music such as represented by Solee, Space Motion, Brascon and Dizharmonia are definitely heartwarming moments she builds into her sets.

Her sets take you on a journey filled with dark, energetic and melodic techno sounds and deep vibes! Find out yourself!
