NARD021 Darkart - Subterrean (Original Mix)

Colombino proves yet again that he likes to re-create feelings or associations with his music – in this case, animalistic imagery comes to mind with the sly, crawling opening of Circling of Voltures. The track is ominously slow, mimicking the actions of a predatory animal and it's build-up to its catch with its tri-tone, circular melody and droning, dry reverb in the background.

This track sees a spare electronic accompaniment to a narrative about small towns, “small people, small minds”, perhaps a commentary on the nature of humankind and the isolation of the individual cut off from society, a dreamer, in other words. Marco Colombino's sophomore release on No-Attitude Recordings, Night Vibes EP encapsulates the deeper mood and darker melodies of Marco's London underpinning. The title track hits with a super deep rumbling bassline and eerie high note piano undertones. An atmospheric twinkling takes over the break and sounds of gas mask breaths amplifies the intensity.  Night Vibes screams quintessential afterparty track.

Starting off quite minimal and transforming into an echoing rumble baseline, Transition follows the common theme of Night Vibes’ darkness. The flavour kicks in once you hear those 808s and heavy high hats. A spoken vocal contemplates the true meaning of music.

Two Northern Italians, Jacopo Ottini and Marco Saudella, comprise this new young duo, AB. Playing musical instruments from a young age, AB have a solid foundation and structure in their dub, house, and techno inspired compositions. Their Disco A Disco B EP busts out the old school house vibe with hi-hat disco influences. Disco A brings the heavy old school 90s house flava along with super heavy hi-hats that make you want to jack yo' body body, jack yo' body body. Disco B is once again heavy on the hi-hats adjoined with a thumpin' bassline plus little pops of 90s nostalgia.

No-Attitude's first lady and Amsterdam transplant, Lina Prey is kinda murdering it (if we don't say so ourselves) on her debut EP release, Time Slows Down. Prey has not been in the game very long, however she has been plotting and planning since her younger years. 

If Donnie Darko featured tech house, Time Slows Down would surely take the cake as the album score. The futuristic zaps and zig zags along with the deeply altered ghostly vocals compliment the upbeat, chuggin' bass-line. S&C follows suit on the darker side of tech house yet still packs an upbeat overall fondness. Male and female ethereal vocals call and respond throughout the groove while 808 samples bop and tick alongside.

Our team is dedicated to making and/or showcasing great dance tunes to those that appreciate the importance. Many sleepless nights, blood--well maybe not blood, but sweat and tears, have certainly been invested. We strive to be one of those labels on which you can always depend.

We’ve previously been around throwing warehouse and club parties in Shoreditch, East London.

Our concept is quite self explanatory: We like nice, dance music intelligent people to come party with us, and we like to listen to and make quality underground dance tunes. Douchebags, @ssholes, chavs, posers, princesses, b1tches, and mean people in general need not show up or listen to anything, No-Attitude. No-Attitude is for everyone with just that, no attitude.
