Kyle Watson returns for his third No Context release, and this one’s built to catch you off guard. He kicks off the EP with See Your Truth, a track he debuted at Coachella this year. It’s sub-driven and energetic, and if you turn it up enough you might catch a desert suntan through your speakers.

But as soon as you hit play on the B-side you realise everything’s been flipped on its head. Suddenly, we’re in a hypnotic swirl of intergalactic pads, textured pianos, and ethereal vocals at a tempo we didn’t expect to hear from Kyle. The only thing keeping us from floating into the clouds is the familiar anchor of a Watson bassline.

Where do we go from here? Wherever we want to.
