Hey Mat man, really impressive that all these sounds are actually dogs. Love your creativity and boldness. This is very eerie and sounds like the soundtrack to a walk through a moonlit countryside. That could be the art that accompanies it, too, but at least it's apt. Wonderful work here, my friend!

I had a dream, and I wrote this song not to forget it. 

Technical highlights: hand played bass, slightly odd riff on chorus (15/2) & some extra psychedelia.

Smart people doing wrong always perplexes me.
Religious people supporting wrong raises concerns about faith claims of following truth.
Political parties  and governments oppressing people causes alarms to ring out.

Tom's piano melodies are so inspirational, not just to me (Mark) but also to Jussi, Georg and Boon. The energy of this piece carried us all off on a wonderful journey. The Clock Of The Four Winds

August 2025 Currently on residency in Italy !
All sounds here (melody, texture, harmony, percussive sounds etc) are made from a field recording of the dogs in the valley below my balcony... well except for my whistle : ) 
They have been my sonic companions
Residency is coming to end, its been a month of complete experimentation with more than 20 little sketches done, all using field recordings captured around Montegiovi, Tuscany. With these little works I am experimenting freely with what can be produced from each days sounds - manipulating them and stitching them back together with the aim of producing a long format work at the end of the residency. The idea is to have them done by the end of the day (or night) then move on to something fresh the next day.
I am truly thankful for this opportunity that has been provided for me by the Salamanca Arts Centre in Tasmania and Cultivate Projects/La Baldi residency in Italy and The USA.
And of course the wonderful people of Montegiovi !
