Hello! My name is Tanjiro Kamado, oldest son of the Kamado family. I’m a Demon Slayer, part of the Demon Slayer Corps. I started out by selling coal to people from/by my family’s business. One day, I made a delivery that would change my life. I returned from selling coal but when I came back a nightmare was waiting at my family’s home. 

My family…Hanako, Rokuta, Takeo, everyone was dead, my family had died from one single demon. If only I got there faster I would have been able to help them…sorry about that. The only survivors of my family were me and my sister Nezuko who unfortunately, got turned into a demon during the attack. Anyway, that was 2 years ago. Now Nezuko and I have begun our journey to find a way the turn her back into a human. We also have met some friends along the way. Their names are: Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma.


Inosuke is a outgoing person, always wanting to fight someone to see who’s stronger. He has a passion/determination to win and won’t stand to lose. He always wears a boar head for a unknown reason but under the mask he has the facials of a girl but he is a male. Inosuke uses Beast Breathing, a breathing he created while in the mountains. He also wields Dual Nichirin Blades.


Zenitsu is a shy, coward, but also funny person. He believes he doesn’t have long to live because of how weak he thinks he is. He also thinks it’s a fluke he passed the Final Selection. Zenitsu is also is seen as a womanizer, always trying to get a woman to marry/love him. Zenitsu uses Thunder Breathing, a Breathing passed down to him by the former Thunder Hashira. Even though Zenitsu can only use one form of his Breathing, I know he can still be a string Demon Slayer.

Me? I use Water Breathing, taught to me by Urokodaki Sensei. I’m able to use all ten forms of Water Breathing, but I also have the ability to use my family’s secret breathing: Hinokami Kagura. It’s a Breathing only passed down to members of the Kamado family. I utilized this Breathing first when me and Nezuko fought Lower Moon 5, Rui.

Oh my goal? My goal is to turn my sister back into a human, and kill the demon responsible for all this, Muzan Kibutsuji.
