ARTIST BIO -
Sofia Deren is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, focusing on Progressive and Organic House. She started playing at 19 and began producing in 2024, the year she released her track "Dark Side of the Star."

That first release was supported by Hernán Cattáneo, who included her on his radio show, Resident, giving her a significant boost within the local scene.

Her music has been downloaded and supported by several renowned artists, including Eelke Kleijn, Mariano Mellino, Nick Warren, among others.

In her sets, Sofia combines a carefully curated musical selection with an energy that connects with the dance floor, creating sonic journeys that range from deep and melodic to more intense moments, always maintaining an emotional and personal coherence in her work.

She is currently preparing new releases and projects to continue developing her sound and presence on the scene.

In preparing for Cascadia, I set out to choose music that would tap straight into the heart. I wanted to open people up—to connect with that deep, centered, vulnerable space where all healing and all strength reside. I wanted to remind people that we are all connected, and that there’s always a glimmer of hope when we choose to stand together—in unity, in humanity. And from that space, I wanted to call us to action: to never give up this fight for justice, compassion, and dignity for all people. Every track was chosen with intention, and I layered in speeches to help amplify the message.


I know I’m not alone in feeling paralyzed by the weight of it all sometimes. Sometimes we just need to remember: we are not alone. And there is still so much beauty, compassion, kindness, love, and resilience in this world.

I hope you enjoy this live recording of my drum & bass set from Cascadia 2025.

t e s t p r e s s (all spaces, no caps) are a DJ & production duo originating from Aberdeen but now residing in Glasgow. Forward thinkers in the trance and techno realm, they’re known best for their high energy fast paced dunts.

Since joining Polyamor agency at the latter stages of 2024 the boys have been honing their sound with hard bounce and trance being their weapons of choice. This has led to a plethora of sold out shows all over Europe and also a return to Australia. 

Looking to the rest of 2025 they look to expand to new territories such as the Americas as well as continuing to be a mainstay across the European continent. With some of their best work yet to be released this year looks to be special.

DEPTH. PERCEPTION Returns in 2025: Live Electronic Music from AJ Hackett’s SkyPark Bungy Jumping featuring DOPPEL LIVE.
 
We’ve been working towards this moment for a long time, and we’re proud to finally launch the next chapter of the DEPTH. PERCEPTION series — filmed in one of the most iconic locations in Australia.  
 
For this very special episode, we packed our bags and headed north to the tropical rainforest of Cairns, teaming up with the legendary crew at AJ Hackett’s SkyPark — home to Australia’s only bungy jumping site — to create something truly unique.  
 
On top of the tower, 164 feet above the canopy, we welcomed DOPPEL, one of Australia’s most respected festival artists, to deliver an exclusive live electronic music performance. Known for his deep, melodic, and progressive sounds, DOPPEL brings a set filled with unreleased material and timeless productions from his highly regarded discography.  
 
Since launching the PERCEPTION series, we’ve been waiting for the right time and place to showcase DOPPEL’s musical journey — and this was it. Elevated in every sense of the word.  
 
This episode blends the beauty of Far North Queensland's natural environment with the countries unique and distinctive music culture. It’s a celebration of underground electronic music, Australian landscapes, and the artists shaping the future of sound. 
 
A massive thank you to the incredible crew at SkyPark Cairns, especially Charlie, Jayde E and Jayde H, all the jump deck crew and everyone behind the scenes who made this collaboration possible.

“Cairns is one of the places that the Australian outdoor scene and its unique flavour of house & techno really originated as well as the hometown of so many of my friends and inspirations in the industry so it felt like a natural place for it all to come together for this recording. It’s also been a place that has welcomed me with open arms since the beginning of my career, so getting back up there to play tunes and showcase the incredible natural beauty of the place was really special. This is a collection of a few new bits I’ve been working on and playing around recently mixed in with a couple of classics. Lady Tazz channels high-impact, provocative energy into hypnotic techno that balances peak-time power with playful intrigue, driving dancers toward liberation. Born in Montreal and raised between Canada and Bangladesh, she learned leadership in her family’s business from age nine, then returned at 19 to Toronto to earn a Psychology and Physics degree while competing as a university‑level tennis scholar. Nights spent at Government Club in Toronto ignited her passion for electronic music and set her on a path beyond academia.

By 22, Tazz had taken the reins of her family enterprise back in Bangladesh and launched a weekly radio show that drew over a million listeners, featuring top celebrities, musicians, and politicians. Yet she craved the underground. Secret trips to London in the 2000s led her to illegal raves and, ultimately, to found Mind Medizin—an event series that exploded from South America into a global phenomenon, famed for red‑lit, steel‑and‑leather‑clad performances and lineups of nonconformist techno provocateurs.

Today, Mind Medizin has evolved into a label that amplifies kindred spirits—from emerging Global South talents to storied underground legends—anchored by the acclaimed Hermanas compilation series. Avision (Anthony Cardinale), born in Staten Island, NY in 1993 and now based in New Jersey, is a DJ and producer renowned for his dynamic contributions to the techno and house music scenes. Raised in the vibrant club culture of New York City, Avision was drawn to music from an early age. At just 12 years old, he began experimenting with music production using his father’s laptop and Logic Pro. With a father actively involved in music, Avision's passion was nurtured from the start.

His professional journey gained momentum with the release of the Excess EP on Beardman Records in 2018, earning widespread acclaim and elevating his profile within the industry. He has since released tracks on respected labels including Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio, Crosstown Rebels, Altra Moda, Blackbook Records, Cod3 QR, and Cocoon.

Avision’s debut album In My Mind received recognition from DJ Mag UK, further solidifying his reputation in the global electronic music community.

Recently, Avision launched the label MATTER+ with his cousin and legendary DJ Victor Calderone. In addition to his music career, Avision is an entrepreneur. He owns an event production company, a mobile pizza business, and a restaurant and bar in New Jersey—ventures unified under his Ground Rule Collective, which blends events, clothing, art, and food.

Avision’s sets are known for their uplifting, groovy, and deep sound, inspired by pioneers like Victor Calderone, David Morales, Junior Vasquez, and Danny Tenaglia. Notable appearances include Brooklyn Storehouse, The Brooklyn Mirage, Time Warp NYC, Space Miami, Stereo Montreal, Thuishaven, and the iconic Printworks in London. His ability to perform marathon open-to-close sets highlights both his technical skill and his connection with crowds.
