Sasch BBC & Caspar first appeared within the Manual family only a few months ago when they did a remix for Ming (GER)'s 'Polara' track on MNL. Now the German duo is back with an impressive EP on Manual Music, presenting two new originals and each of them getting a proper remix treatment.'Demure' is a heavy hitting deep and dubby techno track filled with emotion and subtle twists. Very dreamy- but relentlessly pumping at the same time. Get ready to be mesmerized! Another artist who has been breaking thru in the progressive house- and melodic techno scene lately is Ukrainian producer NekliFF. His releases on Click Records and Dear Deer have been making some serious waves lately and with his remix for 'Demure' he once again proves he's a force to be reckoned with.

'Physical Things' bubbles and rolls with a shiny bass hook that taps deep into an ageless, heads-down, hip-swaying sense of hypnosis. With added texture coming courtesy of a crucial spoken word sample, this one locks your floor in for the long-haul. 

'Feelings' continues to build on the timeless, rolling sense of groove-kissed positivity. Just on the right side of chunk and funk, there's a deep drive coded in every nuance that salutes three house havens at once: NYC's sass, Chicago's bumps and Ibiza's sexiness. 

Finally Oxia rolls in with a pristine remix of 'Feelings'. Maintaining the flared percussion and deep-swinging allure of the original while adding several layered arpeggiated tendrils and emotional chords, he's highlighted all the best bits and added his own unique, narrative twist.

"Grundsätzlich lässt sich das nicht genau spezifizieren“, sagt das Duo @mokabi auf die Frage, woher sie die Inspiration für ihre Tracks nehmen. „Da wir aufgrund der räumlichen Trennung (Stuttgart und Köln) selten gleichzeitig an Liedern arbeiten, gibt es meistens nicht diese eine Idee.“ Es sei viel mehr ein kreativer Prozess. Ihre Nummer „Schräger Traum“ entstand kurz nach einem viertägigen Urlaub in Amsterdam mit Besuch des La Rêve Festivals: „Das übrigens nur zu empfehlen ist!“ Diese dort gesammelte kreative Energie wollten sie unbedingt in einem Track festhalten. 'It’s the turn of Brazilian producer Against The Time to deliver something special on Us & Them Records. The first track of the EP is called ‘Colider’, it’s a rather melancholic track with a haunting and intense vibe. The pace of the drums keeps the track going, even in the calmer parts of this beautiful soundscape. The second track called ‘Judgement’ is a more emotional cut. The track has less pace than Colider, that however does not mean it lacks dancefloor potential. Last but not least of the original mixes is ‘Vandal’. It’s a melodic track with lots of flowing elements that ultimately create a danceable groove. The main break cuts all the drums for maximum drama, but quickly returns to the tunnel where it came from.
The originals are accompanied by three remixes. First of there is the Colider remix by Paul Anthonee. It is a high-paced techno-bomb like the original, however the drums have a more aggressive feeling to them. Secondly there is the Voices of Valley remix of Judgement, which features the Greek duo’s unique style. The breakdown is where the duo really deliver something unique, huge emotional value leading up to a magnificent climax. The last remix of the EP is delivered by Altego on the track Vandal. It’s a hypnotic emotional track which relies on the main synth to lead the listener through its story. Well structured drums make sure that the track will stand its ground on the dancefloor and beyond.'
