About the voice used in this live, sampled from an experimental reading... of an experimental writing :

A "naked" reading, in a timbral morphing of genres abolishing boundaries between man and woman, mixed with a robotic prosody. The text loses some of its humanity, and gains in strangeness. The "text to speech" algorithm used is the object of a poetic reappropriation resonating with the weird, the trans (gender, human…) — We wish we were mystics, we’re just dirty computers.

Une lecture "mise à nue", dans un morphing timbral des genres abolissant ses frontières entre homme et femme, mélangée à une prosodie robotique. Le texte perd de son humanité, et gagne en étrangeté. L’algorithme de "text to speech" utilisé fait l’objet d’une réappropriation poétique résonnant avec le bizarre, le trans (genre, humain…) — On rêvait d’être des mystiques, nous ne sommes que de sales ordinateurs.

Paul, aka, NO3sis (pronounced "noesis"), is a french artist based in Aubervilliers (Paris / FR). Paul focus its creation in an experimental approach of electronic music, in connection with the digital arts, and artificial intelligence as a tool for creation rather than enslavement.
Musically, the approach doesn't obey to established style or genre border: sometimes ambient, generative, tribal, often mystical, willingly futuristic, with influences from IDM, bass music, electronica, or science fiction soundtracks. For Live performances, the project can take the form of a collaboration with performers (Francesca Diprima, Thomas Ballèvre, or recentently Nikita Goile) in an “augmented” dance performance with an interactive digital twin.

No3sis has very recently founded the Syrinx Music label where music and numeric art projects are to come.
