NO.FX @ Smeerboel 2014 After

On the run from a mundane life, NO.FX (formerly known as SIETSER) has been part of the Utrecht underground for several years. Hiding out in clubs under the cover of the fog machine and in venues disguised by creative lighting and elaborate decor, NO.FX slowly infiltrated the music scene. While being influenced by the artist he first saw and who got his love for techno going (Steve Bug @ Club 11), NO.FX felt more and more that he had to add something to the scene and music. Then his best friend bought a DJ set and NO.FX started practicing there untill he had enough money to buy his own. He’s been playing on a daily basis ever since at his home (some notorious afterparty’s included), he just never gets bored.

NO.FX also started organising his own notorious (legal and illegal) party’s together with Ciesen (and some friends) under the name “Raven is Leven”. And afterwards he started his own concept called "Roar" which is regularly held at Club Poema in Utrecht.

With a music style as dynamic as his drinking skills, partygoers will never know what to expect from him. From very slow minimal-type sets to pumping techno while he’s b2b with his best friend Ciesen. The only thing he can guarantee is that you will be shaking your ass until he leaves the decks. Possibly back into hiding like the outlaw he is. Or more likely, to wherever he keeps his beer.
