Being based in Seattle, OF COURSE the barometer is permanently set to "rain".  

Which came first--the old school drum machine sounds OR the word "barometer," which feels like a very old school technology, deserving of some old school drum machine sounds?  Honestly, I'm not sure--it all sort of came together all at once.  

This track has 808s, acoustic guitar, orchestra hits, piano, retro synths...and those bleepy boopy old school drum sounds.  You might also learn something about barometers (bonus!)
